Another big dairy farm proposed for Central Wisconsin

Another big dairy farm in the works in central Wisconsin. Gannett Newspapers reporting Jim Wysocki has begun the permitting process for a 3,500-cow dairy in south Wood County. The operation would have around 6,000 acres of irrigated cropland and build a methane digester. The plan is to have the dairy farm up-and-running by 2015. This would be the second large dairy owned by the Wysockis, they also have the 3,200 cow Central Sands Dairy near Nekoosa, the new operation will be called Golden Sands Dairy.
