A dairy farm is opening to the public tomorrow so people can learn more about dairy production. Agriculture United for South Dakota, the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce and the Midwest Dairy Association will host “Lunch on the Dairy Farm” at Crosswind Jerseys Dairy near Elkton, in southeast South Dakota.
In celebration of June as dairy month – tours of the dairy farm will be given and free lunch and SDSU ice cream will be served. Guests will also be able to try and milk a cow.
