KCBT also wants expanded open outcry trade on report days

The Kansas City Board of Trade wants to expand open outcry trade on the days when USDA releases major grain and oilseed reports at 7:30 AM Central.

KCBT has submitted a proposal to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission that would open pit traded hard red winter futures and options at 7:20 AM Central instead of 9:30 AM Central starting on June 12 when USDA puts out updated Supply and Demand, and Crop Production estimates.

Open outcry settlement on those days would remain at 1:15 PM Central.
