Springtime is the time to update the vaccinations on your horse. The main focus is mosquito-borne illnesses like West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis and thanks to the warm spring, the mosquito season is starting early this year. Wisconsin State Veterinarian Dr. Bob Ehlenfeldt says the first thing to do is talk to your veterinarian.
