Governor John Kasich has named David Daniels of Greenfield as the new director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Since January 2011, Daniels has represented Ohio’s 17th Senate District. Daniels replaces Jim Zehringer as director. In November 2011, Zehringer was appointed to lead the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
He is expected to be sworn in and begin as ODA director February 16.
