A survey of fourteen land-grand universities showed a strong starting salary for students pursuing careers in the agriculture industry.
The average salary among undergraduates in agriculture and related professions was $38,104. The top three average starting salaries and careers: food science led the way at $43,953; agricultural and biological engineering, $42,356; and agricultural economics at $42,026.
