Miami County cattleman Sam Sutherly is the new President of the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association taking the gavel from Dave Felumlee of Licking County during the OCA’s annual meeting and banquet this past Saturday. Sutherly tells Brownfield he’s anticipating an exciting year with plenty of challenges.
“I really think our biggest issue is this water quality issue,” Sutherly said. “As an industry and agriculture as a whole have a lot to learn and a lot of changes to make in the future.”
Sutherly says the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association has the resources available to help educate producers.
