  • Congratulations Bailey, Your family and friends are very proud of your accomplishments, winning the 2011 GRAND CAMPION STEER at The Missouri State Fair. Both of your great grandfathers, (Loren Edgar Bailey & Bill Cowgill) were both cattle men in Missouri. Jo’s Idle Hour Lodge in Hurdlnd, Missouri began raising registered Angus Cattle in 1948 under the ownership of Ed Bailey, and Bill Cowgill had several farms in the Milan, Missouri area. You are following in the family traditon and we are all so proud of you and all the hard work it has taken for you to win this title with your steers. Your Aunt & Uncle, Les and Carrie Edwards, owners of Edwards Show Cattle also deserve a congratulations for their hard work in helping you reach this goal. With so many young adults in the US presenting a negative image with their actions and behavior, you are a role model! Your particiption in school sports, academic achievement, 4-H, and being a person I am proud to call my niece! Uncle Jack
