Today’s farmers are becoming more efficient every day. With the advent of multiple technologies farmers are able increase their productivity on the farm, but that often times leaves less time to visit with other farmers in the area. A new website and mobile application is designed to connect farmers from the field, no matter their location. cropNAtion is designed to work as a social networking site where farmers can create profiles, share information and access market and weather conditions. Jim Spradlin, GROWMARK vice president of agronomy says they saw the need for farmers and ranchers to have a virtual coffee shop where users could not only share information but cultivate relationships.
The website is now active for those interested in North American agriculture. The iPhone and Android mobile apps will be available late summer.
