One of the 16 new Republican members named to the House Agriculture Committee is 3rd District Indiana Congressman Marlin Stutzman.
“That was actually my number one choice,” said Congressman Stutzman. “I felt that it was important for me, as we requested committees, to have one that I felt strong in with information and also relationships with, so agriculture was the number one pick, so yes, I’m thrilled to be on there.”
Stutzman tells Brownfield that in a conversation he had with House Ag Committee Chairman Frank Lucas of Oklahoma, the Chairman told Congressman Stutzman he was pleased, knowing that the 3rd District Indiana Congressman comes from a family farm.
