This has been a very busy summer for Wisconsin’s Alice in Dairyland. Christine Lindner has been attending fairs and festivals across the Badger State and sees increasing interest in such events as more people seek to know where their food comes from. “Being able to bring the producer in, to make that connection, to put a face on the food.” Lindner says an increasing number of consumers are becoming aware of the tremendous assortment of quality agricultural products available across the state.
With schools reopening, Alice will return to the classroom as well speaking to 4th Graders about Wisconsin agriculture and speaking to older students about nutrition and opportunities in agriculture.
