U.S. tractor sales ahead of last year

Despite a slight monthly drop in July, this year’s sales of four-wheel drive tractors in the U.S. are still running 19 percent ahead of 2009. And according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, U.S. combine sales were up four percent in July and, for calendar year 2010, are even with the same seven-month period in 2009.
