To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, the Indiana Hardwood Lumberman’s Association (IHLA) helped coordinate the donation of all the Indiana hardwood lumber used in the construction of the bridge located at the east end of the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Ray Moistner, Executive Director of the IHLA reminds us that it was two years ago that the beautiful covered bridge was constructed at the west end of the Fairgrounds.
“We’re proud that the Indiana State Fair’s racetrack is flanked on both the west and the east by beautiful Indiana hardwoods in the form of lasting bridges and monuments,” Moistner said.
In the Our Land Pavilion, IHLA is featuring the Premium Indiana Forest Products brand at their exhibit.
