California Agriculture license plate proposed

California has unveiled an effort to create specialty license plates for agriculture. The initial cost of the “California Agriculture” plates would be $50 more than regular plates, $40 to renew. Personalized agriculture plates would initially be $98 more and $78 to renew.

The money raised would fund agriculture education in the Golden State. The plates were unveiled at the California State FFA Convention this week, 7,500 paid pledges must be in by next spring for the plates to be issued.
