Can corn planting move too quickly?

With today’s big planters, many farmers have the capability to plant several thousand acres of corn in just a week’s time.  And with nearly ideal planting conditions across much of Midwest this spring, that could happen. But an agronomist with Channel Seeds in western Iowa, Jim Cisco, tells Brownfield’s Ken Anderson that it’s still a good idea to spread out your planting a bit.
