Kraft Foods has reportedly reached a tentative contract agreement with more than 900 employees at its Oscar Mayer food plant in Madison, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin State Journal says the four-year deal includes a 30-cent per hour raise each year, a $1,000 bonus upon ratification and $1,000 incentive bonuses each of the next two years. Union members will vote on the contract offer on Thursday and Friday.
The plant recently added a new hot dog line and is in the process of hiring 70 more workers.
