Two meat and poultry industry veterans will oversee key operating units of Tyson Foods.
According to a company news release, Donnie King has been named senior group vice president of Poultry and Prepared Foods. King replaces Donnie Smith who was recently named Tyson’s president and chief executive officer.
Noel White is the new senior group vice president of Tyson Fresh Meats, which is the company’s beef and pork business. He succeeds Jim Lochner, who is now Tyson’s chief operating officer. King and White will both report to Lochner.
King has been with Tyson Foods since 1982. And White joined IBP, which is now Tyson, in 1983.
Tyson, headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas, employs about 117,000 people at more than 400 facilities and offices in the U.S. and around the world.
