Frye recommends watching for pricing opportunities
Water Street Solutions President and CEO Darren Frye says that although the economy shows glimpses of improvement, a lot of people are still out of work and more join the ranks of the unemployed every day. Frye says it’s inevitable that the downturn results in softer demand for commodities, which in turn puts pressure on agricultural markets. Still, Frye sees pricing opportunities in the marketplace if farmers can make marketing decisions based not on emotion, but on what’s needed to operate.
