Two appointed to State Soil Conservation Board

Bret Glick of Bartholomew County and Scott Ham of New Albany have been named to the State Soil Conservation Board by Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. In addition to administering the Clean Water Indiana Fund, the 7-member board provides guidance and coordination to the state’s 92 Soil and Water Conservation Districts.

Glick owns and operates the family grain farm with his brother, Trevor. For the past two years he has served as Board Chairman of the Bartholomew County SWCD.

Ham is the manager of Silver Creek Water Corporation and also a Master Sergeant in the Indiana Army National Guard.
