Ohio lawmakers stand up for animal agriculture

Last week, Ohio’s state legislature stood up for animal agriculture in a big way. Action taken by state lawmakers could stop the anti-animal agriculture movement in its tracks.The Ohio State Legislature passed a proposed constitutional amendment that would create a 13-member Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board. That board would develop best-practice standards for the confinement of animals.

The final version of the resolution, once approved, will put the measure on the November ballot
